Inspectors teaching inspection.
BlastCorr India Private Limited was set up in Madurai to give southern Tamil Nadu a certification centre it did not have to travel to. We work in non-destructive testing, welding inspection, coating inspection and QA/QC — and we train to the same standards we are audited against.
We don't chase every service line — we hold every one we run to audit-grade standard. That discipline is what's built our name in this industry, and it's the one thing we won't trade away for speed or price.
Our director sits on the ASNT India Section board and taught for TWI India. The centre is a G+2 building: classes on the first and second floors, accommodation on the ground floor, NDT and coating labs on site.
Every course is built around inspectors who already hold the certifications they teach to. We supply and calibrate instruments the same way — tested against what the job actually demands, not just the spec sheet.
For institutional training, industrial inspection or instruments trading anywhere in southern Tamil Nadu, we want to be the name people reach for first — and the one they come back to.
Safety, health and welfare are the first standard every trainee and inspector is held to — on campus, in the lab, and on client sites.
Set up BlastCorr in Madurai in 2014 after years as a tutor at TWI India and as a coating and welding inspector on Gulf projects. He still teaches the BGAS Grade 1 and CSWIP 3.2 modules himself, and sits on the ASNT India Section board.
Runs scheduling, examiner liaison and site deployment across both divisions. Twelve years in Gulf fabrication QA before joining BCI, and the person candidates deal with from application through to certificate issue.
Certificates only mean something if the standard behind them holds. Ours does.
We hold client satisfaction as the measure of every engagement — training, inspection and instrument supply alike. That means value-added delivery, ethical conduct with no exceptions, and meeting every regulatory and environmental requirement that applies to our work, not just the convenient ones. Management reviews and strengthens our Quality Management System on an ongoing basis, so the standard moves forward rather than sitting still.
